Carnival Carnage (2016) For Solo Piano (2’ 45”)

Carnival Carnage was inspired by the opening credits of a horror television show set in a 1950s travelling circus. The composition and interpretation intends to capture the eerie yet melancholic personalities of its characters. Performed by Mizi Lee.

Comparsa (2017) For Percussion (5’)

Comparsa was inspired by the carnival celebrations that take place in South America every February. During this month, people come together in the streets to celebrate the king of carnival, King Momo. The improvised bands play Afro-Cuban rhythms using various drums and percussion instruments. People from all walks of life join in the festivities by dancing to the drumming. Performed by Logan Fox & Joshua Hill.

Ominous Bells (2022) Electronic Alone (1’ 36”)

This short composition features bells, rain, wind, singing bowls and wind chimes. The interaction of the sonorities create a doomy soundscape.

Haunted Lighthouse was inspired by the eerie and unnatural feeling attached to many abandon lighthouses. 

Insania (2024) Electronic Alone (6’)

Insania aims to capture the overwhelming discomfort of being part of a vicious circle of madness.  Its main melodic line presents itself as stable and harmonious, but it is just a façade.  Insania’s true dissonant and imbalanced nature end up for reveling itself time and again.
